Stretch marks are technically defined as a scarring of the skin. Wrinkles, on the other hand, are seen as ridges or creases on the surface. But can stretch marks and wrinkles be related in a way? It is possible that since stretch marks occur in the area beneath the skin known as the dermis, that the skin above the scarring can also become weak and therefore wrinkle over time and especially if stretch marks are not tended to.

The Common Factor

Collagen - If there is one common denominator in skin and the dermis, it is that they both require collagen to stay strong and elastic. Collagen makes up for 75% of healthy skin and since the dermis is just underneath the surface of the skin, it applies to the dermis as well.

Now, if collagen formation is damaged in any way, this can cause wrinkles and it can also cause stretch marks. These marks become more and more visible as one gets older and as the skin ages as well. Since back in the day, I no longer have any trouble with regard to my external appearance. For the reason that I’m already into martial arts ever since I was 5 years old. And when I was 12, I already get down to hard-core strength and conditioning routines.

On the other hand, I come across individuals who don’t look the way they want, and each time they speak their mind, it’s like hearing stories that is the same as before. That’s why I am writing this post, if you are:

* Skinny and think you can’t put on muscle

* Overweight and think you can’t go on a diet…

* “skinny fat” where you have no beefiness, but you’re just lean…

Then I can guarantee you are this way because of one of these 5 things:

Reason No. 1: You Don’t Have Particular Understanding

* You don’t have any idea on how to build up strength.

* You have no idea how to watch your weight.

* You have no idea how to eat healthy

* You don’t know how to cook, as a result, you barely eat fast food as well as food in a packaged form.

* You don’t know which training program is best.

Knowledge is always the first step. The first thing you need to realize is how your body works, how proper nutrition and exercise changes the animal - then you discover how to make it do what you want it to do. In your case: change your physique for the better-build muscle and lose fat.

That’s why you’re here. I will give you the knowledge you need. But it’s up to you to apply it. Knowledge is NOT power, only APPLIED knowledge is power.

You can read every book on the planet about building muscle and losing fat, but if you never start exercising and eating nutritious then you’ll never get ANY results. You have to go for it. Don’t be afraid of failure, the most successful people realize that their entire life is one big mistake!

Third Reason: You Admit Yourself As “Skinny” or “Fat” or “Not Muscular”

* You think of yourself as “skinny, fat or not muscular” rather than as what you want to be

* It doesn’t bother you much that you’re this way anymore

* if you actually cared enough, if it concerned you enough, you’d change

* You’re AT EASE with your look

Being fat or out of shape is considered normal these days. It wasn’t always like this. We used to be hunters and if you weren’t in shape-you were dead-end of story. During the industrial age everyone survived on hard physical labor, everyone was in shape and athletic.

You were considered “sickly” if you were thin and not beefy or laughed at for being flabby. You shouldn’t feel bad about yourself but don’t just say “this is just the way I am”. You can turn out to be whatever you want to become and achieve things you never thought you could achieve if you’re fed up of your present situation and want to change bad enough.

Fourth Reason: You Believe Gaining Muscle and Burning Fat is difficult

* You accept terms like “hardgainer” and relate them to you

* You don’t get results in 2 weeks, so you quit

* You follow books and magazines that touch on “battling the bulge” like it’s hard

Building muscle isn’t all that hard. If you’ve always been skinny, try to get strong. Your body MUST adapt by building muscle to help you get stronger. It’s the way your body works.

Losing weight isn’t difficult either. You eat nutritious and you stay vigorous. Anybody who says they can’t get 12 minutes a day 3x per week to go on a diet is dishonest to themselves.

Reason #5: You Aren’t Determined Enough

* You haven’t said “come rain or shine”

* You haven’t said to yourself “failure is not an option”

* You haven’t decided yet that “this is the year I get this sh*t handled!”

The fact is: you can build muscle, lose weight, and transform your body pretty well using ANY workout routine and nutritional program. That’s the reason why there’s so many of them out there. The key to success (ANY success) comes down to 2 things:

1. Make up your mind you’re going to do something and

1. Do it ANYWAY

I used to train with methods I wouldn’t make use right away. They’re not “proper” but it WORKED because I turned down in taking failure as an option. If you too develop the “do or die” attitude, you can attain whatever.

I will give you the knowledge - or you can get it elsewhere. I like to think I know the fastest, smartest, most efficient ways to do it - but you can get the knowledge you need from anyone. And you don’t need to be all that “positive” in your thinking. Just make up your mind to do something and find a way to get it done.
