How Can I Lose Belly Fat?
Imagine being able to lose belly fat, so that you finally can have a flat stomach, with toned abs. Sound impossible? You’ve tried everything but nothing seems to work? Well, if you have been doing 150 crunches per day, and you still can’t see any result, I can tell you why. You are doing it the wrong way. Sorry, but that is the truth.
Because of the way our bodies are made, you can’t just target one area of your body to try to lose some weight there. Your body must be looked as a whole. You will never be able to lose that stubborn belly fat if you are only doing crunches.
Workouts
Some ab exercises will do wonders for you. But don’t get into a rut, and carry on with your millions of crunches. Try something new, like V-Sit, Bicycle Crunches, or Toe Raises. It’s better to do exercises that work your core, as this involves more of your muscles. Since you are using more muscles, you are burning more fat.
Don’t be scared of using weights when working out. Don’t worry; you will not end up like the Hulk. You see, muscle tissue will even burn fat when resting. So more muscles equals burning more fat. This will help you getting rid of your belly fat.
Get your heart rate up for about 30 minutes a day. Here you can be a bit creative; you don’t have to go to gym for this. Take the stairs instead of the escalator or elevator. Take a walk in the mornings. You will figure it out.
Your body needs balance. So if you are only working your abs, but not your back, you will break the balance of your body, and you will eventually plateau. So work all your body parts, and you will see much better results.
Dieting
If your diet contains a lot of junk food, sweets, sodas, beers, and sugar, you will never get rid of your pot belly. Take a little bit of time, and find out what it is that your body needs. Don’t get fooled by a pill that will make you thin by tomorrow, there is NO QUICK FIX to a great body.
Make fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean meats a big part of your diet. And drink water instead of sodas. Never starve yourself, even if you are trying to lose weight.
Remember to spoil yourself. Not too often, but every now and then. It’s very unlikely that you will be able to keep it up, if you constantly deny yourself anything that is nice.
You need to remember to stay patient. The midsection it the last area your body will actually lose weight. But stay determined. If you don’t give up, you will soon see great results.
